Create New UDDI Job – Only Kit Products
Introduction
This Quick Reference Guide (QRG) covers the setup of the new fields added to the Product Export User Defined Data Interchange (UDDI) to align with DPD’s Product Insert ‘n’ file. This requires the UDDI Licence Feature.
New UDDI Product Export Option
There is a new drop down against UDDI Exports that are set up with a ‘Process Type’ of ‘Products’. The Drop Down has the following options:
- All Products – if selected, any export processed will contain all items including kits.
- All Products (Excluding Kits) – if selected, any export processed will contain all items with the exception of Kit items; although kit components will still be visible.
- Only Kit Products – if selected, any export processed will contain only Kit components along with an identifier as to which kit the components belong to.
Create New UDDI Job – Only Kit Products
To create a new Product Export UDDI Job:
- Navigate to the Admin menu
- Click on User Defined Data Interchange List
- Select New
- Set Direction* to ‘Export’
- Set Process Type* to ‘Products’
- Set Products to Include to ‘Only Kit Products’
- Complete setup on the page (e.g. select Connection Profiles, set Scheduling)
- Click Save.
- Navigate back to the User Defined Data Interchange List.
- Select Map Data against the newly created Job
- Map the data with the following fields:
When this has been set up, the UDDI Job will run automatically on the specified schedule. The Job can also be ran manually via the User Defined Data Interchange Job list by selecting ‘Run’ against the Job.
