Introduction
This Quick Reference Guide (QRG) will take you through the process of logging a Location(s) as temporarily open or closed, and show how to run a report on those closures.
Shop Opening/ Closure Logs
This is a manual entry feature that allows you to add details of branch opening/ closing reasons and dates, which then has the ability to report on them.
To set a branch closure,
- click into the Admin menu
From within the Shop Opening / Closing Records,
- select Shop Closure Logs.
From the bottom of the page,
- select New.
The New Shop Log page will open.
Complete the following fields:
- Branch* - the name of the opened/ closed Branch ( Location).
- Status* - select ‘Opening’ or ‘Closing’ depending on if the store has opened or closed.
- Reason* - the reason for the opening/ closure.
- Date* - the Date of the opening/ closure.
Note: in the example below, we are logging a Branch closure.
When complete,
- select Save.
Note: select Save and add to save changes and add another shop Opening/ Closure log.
You should receive a success message:
Closed Store Report
The Closed Store Report will report on all ‘Closure’ logs added to the system, like previously shown.
From within the Admin menu,
- locate back to the Shop Opening / Closing Records.
- Select Closed Store Report
On the Shop Temporary Closures page,
- use the Filter Options to select the relevant Location(s) and Date Range, and Generate the report.
Once generated, the Report is displayed on screen. This can be Exported to CSV if required.
